Abstract:

The study revealed a high prevalence of psychiatric disorders among ADS patients, with depressive disorders being most frequent. Significant associations were observed between liver enzyme levels (elevated ASAT, ALAT, γGT) and psychiatric comorbidities on Day 1 of detoxification (p<0.05). These associations reduced by Day 21 as enzyme levels normalized. Thyroid dysfunction was strongly linked to mood disorders, emphasizing the need for comprehensive health management in ADS.
